My first blog post!!!

Welcome Blair Oaks Elementary Falcon Followers!  This is my first attempt at a blog and I hope that it is a wealth of information for our Blair Oaks families.  My next step will be to publicize this blog!  I hope to keep it up-to-date and make it a worthwhile publication for our Falcon Families! 

This week at Blair Oaks Elementary -
Monday - Spring Pictures
Tuesday - Third Grade MAP Information Night at 6pm
Wednesday - Family Reading Program Packet needs to be returned - prize pick-up
Thursday - Kindergarten Round-up at 6:30pm
Friday - Hat Day with proceeds going to the American Heart Association
Saturday - Middle School Drama Club Dinner Theater

Wednesday, March 3- Early Release Day at 1pm

We are currently participating in the QSP Family Reading Program.  This has students return a packet with addresses and/or magazine sales.  We have been participating in this program for several years and the money we receive is to pay for our Accelerated Reader Program.  We are pleased with the response in this program in past years.  All students returning a completed packet this year will receive a WebKinz plush toy!
